Dyeing my hair brown...?
Hi, I currently have naturally strawberry blond hair (wavy/curly and a little on the thin/fine side), fair skin with cool undertones (In other words, pink undertones) and green eyes. I want to die my hair brown, but I need help. I love dark browns, but I'm worried they'll wash me out. Then I was wondering about honey browns, like Jessica Alba does, because I love her hair. We have similar hair types (I think), but of course her skin tone is totally different. Any advice? Should I do a lighter brown, see how I like it, and then later try darker? Should I do cool tones, neutral or warm?
Also, the only non-permanent hair color (Which is what I want) they carry at the store is Clairol's Natural Instincts, which has some beautiful colors. They have something called "Golden shimmers", which is hair color with warm, red tones. Should I avoid those with my skin tone?

Colors to avoid when selecting a hair color for you. You should not consider colors of red, bronze, yellow or gold since they are warm colors and tend to looked washed out on cool people.
Colors you might want to consider are shades of ash browns, cool blondes such as platinum, blue-blacks and unnatural colors like mahogany, burgundy and fire engine red can also be worn by this shade as well.
