Business Card Scratch
Someone swiped my car at work and left me their card, what should I do?
I have a huge scratch in my car along with a business card. Obviously the person is responsible and wants to fix the situation. What if he wants to settle outside of insurance? Is it illegal? What are my options here?
It is not up to you to settle outside of insurance. It is his choice since he is the one who did the damage. It is legal to settle privately but personally, I would never settle that way. There are too many "snags" that can and do happen.
