hello my name is Jay and I have a year 4 she has been acting Thoroughbred Strangely, as laying down a lot and bearly eat, talk with a neighbor who also has horses and talked to your vet and the vet said give him mineral oil and half a shot well banamine 5 ml in the morning and another shot at night and both times to give full size as a small bottle Coca Cola mineral oil, but its been like a week and she is still acting strangely, what could be and what I can do, it is possible to process cheaper ... oh also the vet told you to take the temperature if I had a fever there was nothing we could do and should call a vet to make her sleep, but thanks God she didn't have a fever ...
It really sounds like colic. I've seen this happen in other horses. In general, a very uncomfortable, then, sometimes real dream. They also lay down a lot. Has been wormed regularly? If not, this can cause serious problems in the intestine. I would call a veterinarian, the have looked. Some people use a mixture of hot bran prevent this condition, and is also supposed to help the symptoms. But I do not recommend giving anything until the veterinarian examines it.
