want to start wearing makeup, and doing my hair up nice? please help.?
okay so right now I dont really do much with my hair and makeup but I want to start without looking fake or a poser because people get that a lot at my school. any suggestions?

I hate Miley, truly hate her, but I think she wears quite stylish makeup. Not too overdone, quite subtle.
I've got a link down there for you to look at, note the tone of lip colour she has there, and how she doesn't have much mascara on the bottom lashes.
Please, PLEASE don't get all... Heavy, black eyeliner-ish... It's really not attractive. Subtle is the key, keep it natural and you'll look a million dollars next to the little barbie dolls.
Oh, with foundation, be careful with mineral makeup. Make sure you cleanse thoroughly and moisturize before you use it, or you'll look all powdery and gross.
With the hair, it depends on what colour it is. Again, you need to keep it soft and natural, not peroxide blonde or anything like that. If you have light hair, maybe a few caramel tones to make it look warm, and with darker hair auburn streaks really look quite beautiful.
Don't straighten your hair like most of the girls do, try your best to make it look thick and luxurious, that's what you'll want after this dead-straight-hair phase everyone's going through. It's really not that nice and makes your hair look dead and unhealthy.
Okay, I hope you got at least a little bit of advice out of that.
