One day Kerry celebrated her birthday. Two days later her older, identical twin brother, Terry, celebrated his birthday.
Why?

There is a man who lives on the top floor of a very tall building. Every day he takes the elevator down to the ground floor to leave the building and go to work. Upon returning from work though, he can only travel half way up in the lift and takes the stairs the rest of the way, unless it's raining, in which case he goes all the way up!
Why?

A man went to a party and drank some of the punch. He then left early.
Everyone else who stayed late at the party drank the same punch and subsequently all died of poisoning.
Why did the man not die?

i thought my riddles were challenging. after this, i'll stick with jokes.
1.Their mother on a cruise ship, and passed a different time zone while on the ship. Or...They were born two minutes apart in, say, 2001. Terry on Feb. 28, 11:59 p.m. and Kerry on Mar. 1, 12:01 a.m. In 2008, Terry turned 7 on Feb. 28 and Kerry turned 7 on Mar. 1, thus, two days later (you know, leap year, Feb. 28, Feb. 29, Mar. 1).
2.The man is a midget and can't reach the top buttons. If it's raining, he utilizes his umbrella to reach.
3. The ice of the punch was poisoned, and when the man left early, the melted ice had not yet contaminated the punch. It was still just ice. Everybody else died of melted-ice-poison.
