Smashbox Photo Finish

Has anyone tried Smashbox Photo Finish Color Adjust Primer (green bottle)?

I'm thinking of buying this since I have redness on my face, however my skin tends to be on the dry side. How does this primer work? Is the consistancy like a moisturer or go on thick like a liquid foundation? Also wondering if it will make the dry skin worse? I always apply a moisturizer before applying the powder foundation, but do I apply the primer after the moisturizer or will I not need it if I'm using this primer? I'm using a mineral powder foundation and love it, but I would like to fill in those lines, get rid of the redness and have a smoother finish:) If you recommend another product or have any pointers, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for all your help!

I bought it and it is actually more like a primer, so it feels like velvet on the skin and doesn't leave that much of a greasy feeling so long as you don't load up on it...

as for redness, it helped to cancel out the slight discolorations but don't expect it to hide blemishes...it does correct color but not heavily...it isn't a heavy cream. It is extremely lightweight. It would go perfect under your mineral powder, I know because I use Bare Minerals with this primer and it does help to even out skin tone. If you're looking for heavier color correcting, Almay sells a color correcting concealer that looks like a lipstick, in green - for concealing.

I'm pretty sure Sephora sells trial-size Smashbox photo finish tubes, at least at the stores in the malls. You should pick one up before committing to the expensive full-size bottle.
